Let’s Book WrestleMania 31: The Intellectual Savior of the Masses Returns

Pre-Show: The Ascension Gets Their ‘Mania Moment

THE MIZ vs. DAMIEN SANDOW

–The Intellectual Savior Returns–

The Miz and Damien Mizdow have an expiration date. That’s what makes them so fun to watch – you know they’re going to implode, you just don’t know exactly when.

Lets Book WrestleManiaThe Royal Rumble is always a perfect time to start teasing the split of various tag teams. Last year there were actually three or four teams/factions that people thought would break up on the Road to WrestleMania, and exactly NONE of them did.

There is no bigger event to showcase the break-up of these two men than WrestleMania. It just doesn’t get any bigger. Any other pay-per-view is now just a slightly elevated version of Monday Night Raw. At this point, holding off on the divorce doesn’t make any sense. If you’re looking to create strong singles stars out of both men, the ONLY logical place to feature their match is Levi’s Stadium on March 29.In fact, if they DON’T run some sort of similar program at ‘Mania, I would consider it serious and intentional neglect on the part of WWE management.

And no, I don’t want to hear about the “Raw after Mania” being a better option. I’m so sick of WWE booking for the night after, when the NIGHT OF is such a better idea. Give me what I’m paying for; put the fallout on free television.
