Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose Reunite
The action starts off fast with Dean Ambrose coming out and taking out The Authority. Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose start off the action in the ring, with Ambrose hitting some elbow drops and Roman Reigns getting in to take over. Reigns hits some clotheslines into the corner and then Ambrose gets back into the ring. Big Show pulls Seth outside of the ring and we head to a break.
Dean Ambrose gets beaten down over and over. WWE is really playing up his loss to Bray Wyatt on Monday by being the weak link in the match. Rollins focuses him his knee and showcases his ground and pound technique. Big Show comes in, but Ambrose is able to hit a big DDT. Dean tags in Roman Reigns and he hits a massive clothesline. He sets up Superman Punch, but Kane interferes. He hits Rollins with a big punch, but Big Show chokeslams him. Ambrose flies from the top rope and knocks Show out of the ring. He takes out everyone on the outside, except for Rollins. Seth tries a Curb Stomp and Roman ducks, hitting a Spear for the win.
The main event ends in good fashion. It was nice to see Reigns and Ambrose back together and was much needed on a night where not many stars appeared. I did not love how quickly Dean Ambrose came back from his “intense” match on Monday, but that’s what happens with two of your better faces are “fired.” I still hate that decision, but I am really excited to see Smackdown back on Thursdays. As for Friday Night Smackdown, I still would rather go to a bar than stay in and watch Smackdown. My social life is back! (Who am i kidding, I DVR Smackdown and watch on Saturdays.)
