What the Tag Team Division is All About
The Uso’s pick up a win against The Miz and Damien Mizdow and The Dust Brothers. I can break down the great match from Smackdown, but that would waste your time too much. The match was excellent, full of speed and athleticism and very strategically planned out. The Uso’s pick up the win after about 15 minutes of solid and entertaining television time.
The Uso’s: Jimmy and Jey are the best “tag team” in the WWE, which is why they hold the straps. They are both very similar in style, but you can tell there are some small differences. Jimmy is much more explosive in the ring, while Jey can do that but uses more of an old school fight feel to him. They have been nothing but the definition of consistency. They need fresh tag teams to make more of a storyline. They have been entertaining every week, but they have not been able to continue to evolve into just more than a tag team. Will The Ascension help out?
Gold and Stardust: I never thought Cody Rhodes would be Stardust for this long, but bravo to him for continuing to do whatever it takes to be on the show consistently. Goldust and Stardust are really unique and still has much more left in their tanks as a tag team. Unfortunately, we have seen all they can do with The Uso’s. I could care less about them quickly feuding with New Day. That did not work, so I assume only a few months left until they split, right?
Miz and Damien Mizdow: Damien Mizdow’s time is coming. You can feel it. When will it happen? I can see The Miz getting eliminated by his partner at Royal Rumble and then splitting apart. What will happen after that? They will get their “one or two matches,” but I fear he will go back into obscurity afterwards.
Are You Kidding Me?
Sin Cara picks up a victory over Bad News Barrett. Yes, you read that right. I am speechless. What the f*&% are they thinking? Tell me the point of this, please. Is it because they want him to be a heel and he assaults his guys after the match? When was the last time fans really cared about Sin Cara? Inexcusable.
