John Cena Appreciation Night
WWE Raw ends with The Authority having a “John Cena Appreciation Night.” Out comes Cena, who looks skeptical. They show highlights from last week and then Stephanie calls him “her hero.” Triple H talks about their past and says most of it is their fault. Triple H talks about how much Cena sucked and then saw some greatness from him. He says that is why he is so hard and overbearing on him for the past handful of years. Triple H talks about John Cena not believing in “Hustle, Loyalty and Respect.” He says he is seeing a different John Cena.
Triple H brings out Ryback, Erick Rowan and Dolph Ziggler. All of these men got beaten down and lost, all thanks to John Cena. Triple H talks about the consequences and says Rowan got involved in the match sheepishly. The Authority talk about suspensions and begin to walk out of the ring. All three men get fired by Stephanie McMahon. They tell them to thank and appreciate John Cena. Confetti comes down from the ceiling and John Cena is speechless. This ends WWE Raw.
Crap. Plain and simple. This segment was a pile of garbage. What does it do? Nothing. Who does it help? Nobody. Ryback needs to be seen every week. Dolph Ziggler is the best thing going on TV right now. So, a fake firing does what for them? Erick Rowan looks so lost and out of place with these guys. He is not ready. The Authority is really good at times, but whoever made this decision to end Raw like this should be canned. NOW!
