Three Matches in One
WWE TLC features three matches with an odd combination of superstars. The faces of Ryback, Dolph Ziggler and Erick Rowan defeated Big Show, Kane and Luke Harper. Instead of breaking down the match, I want to break down the feuds that we will see come to the forefront on Sunday.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Luke Harper
This is the one feud that I am really interested in seeing. I do think Dolph Ziggler has a great chance of getting his championship back. There needs to be some change, some big moment at WWE TLC. I like how they have continued to build Ziggler, even though he lost the championship on Raw a few weeks ago. With Harper and his athleticism and Ziggler being…well Ziggler, expect an excellent Ladder Match on Sunday. I anticipate big spots, smooth execution and a great depth to the story inside the squared circle.
Ryback vs. Kane
A Chairs Match with Kane and Ryback gives me no interest. Maybe if Kane was dominant still and Ryback had already won a big match I could invest my interest in this. Long story short: If Ryback loses, what is the point for the past month or two of his push? We thought that before and WWE surprised us. I cannot see a way that Kane wins.
Erick Rowan vs. Big Show
The least talented of the Wyatt Family may be the biggest surprised. He is talented, I am not bashing him, but he is slightly less than Harper in the ring and Wyatt on the mic. Those guys are money and Rowan is getting a big shot here in a Steel Stairs Match. I really want Rowan to win, but I cannot see all the faces winning. I can see Big Show finding a way to escape with a victory and Rowan coming “so close.”
