Finally, Some Theatrics in Wyatt vs. Ambrose
Bray Wyatt come out to the ring and talks about how he is a monster and how he is evil. He talks about how he is going to beat down Dean Ambrose. After his promo, an Ambulance comes out and Dean Ambrose appears in fog and lights. He gets into the ring and hits Bray with a ladder in the stomach. Ambrose continues to try and attack him by throwing chairs and tables his way. Wyatt ia able to escape through and their match picks up some much needed steam.
The visual of Ambrose appearing was awesome. I loved it because it was unique and really great looking on camera. Ambrose says that he is going to become the monster and he will eat Wyatt alive. The battle of crazy picks up some much needed steam.
There needed to be more imagination and more depth to their story. Although this was simple, it was definitely a positive step and a nice touch for the go-home show to WWE TLC.
Erick Rowan defeated Luke Harper Via Disqualification
Rowan gets out of the gates fast with a corner splash and then gets hit with a dropkick from Harper. Erick Rowan reverses it and hits a splash into the corner. Full Nelson Slam and Rowan gets another two count. Luke Harper uses the ladder and gets disqualified. He attacks his former partner with a ladder. Rowan uses the steel stairs and then gets Harper on his shoulders. He drops Harper on the stairs and begins to yell at the crowd. Rowan uses the stairs and knocks Harper out of the ring.
This was much more about Erick Rowan than anything else tonight. The title solidifies that Luke Harper has arrives. WWE knows that he is going to be a big star and is much more excelled in the ring. Erick Rowan needed to look strong here and needed to show that he can get some done on his own. I thought this was a good segment and did what it needed for the fans to think that Rowan is legit. He has to win on Sunday, right?
