The Divas Division Play Mocking Game

AJ Lee is dressed as Nikki Bella and even comes out to her own music. She works a headlock and a waistlock a few times. She smacks Brie with a fake breast implant and then Brie gets some offense in. Nikki gets upset and jumps on the apron. This allows AJ Lee to pick up the win. 

AJ Lee got me to laugh, which is something hard to do when dealing with the Divas Division. It was not a horrible idea, but it still spotlights a problem. The problem is this: WWE is still trying to make Nikki vs. Brie more important than AJ Lee vs. ANYONE.

Who is the best Diva in the company? Who is the most realistic? Who can you build a division around? If AJ Lee is leaving WWE, then I get it. She deserves to have a really good feud built around her, not playing second fiddle to two twins who are cooled down cooler than an Eskimo in Alaska.

Erick Rowan defeated Cesaro

Rowan and Cesaro start the match trying to overpower the other. Rowan hits a few chops and Cesaro counters with an attempted body slam. He cannot lift him up, which allows Rowan to get him in a bear hug. Rowan hits a scoop slam and Cesaro counters with a big boot to his face. 

Cesaro gets tackled by Rowan and then dropped with a shoulder block. A pumphandle backbreaker and a Torture Rack gives Rowan the victory over the Swiss Superman.

Who would have thought that Erick Rowan, a week ago, would be in this spot? According to Justin LaBar, Rowan was literally a last minute replacement and now will be on Team Cena, as shown on WWE Raw. I am okay with this, but him defeating Cesaro in less than five minutes is NOT okay. The match was not bad, but it was the definition of average. Cesaro is much better than average. Erick needed the win, but Cesaro needed to not lose AGAIN.

As for Cesaro, he is not on Team Authority. I would love to see Cesaro get a match on the Pay-Per-View against someone. I am not sure who that is, but there is certainly time for it. With only 5 matches and two with Divas involved, there will be plenty of time for Cesaro to have a match. Give him ten minutes against Sami Zayn or an NXT guy. Hell, make a NXT match or have something fresh on the card. There is no IC title match or United States Championship match. Why not?
