TNA Can’t Book Jesse Properly
Rebel eliminates Angelina Love pretty quick to get the upper hand for The Menagerie. Knux tries to hit a big splash and DJ Z gets help from the outside to eliminate him. DJ Z gets quickly eliminated by Crazy Steve. Rebel hits a scissors kick and a few knee shots. Velvet Sky gets taken down and gets a two count. Love sprays Rebel in the face with hairspray and then Sky hits her finisher. DJ Z hops in and hits a reverse knee to the face and Jesse focuses his attention on Steve. Jesse hits a press slam and Velvet kicks Steve in the stomach.
Steve rolls up Sky and kisses her at the same time. It is down to Steve vs. Jesse. Jesse connects with a huge powerbomb and stares at him. He hits more aggressive boots to his stomach and heads to the top. Steve reverses a move and then gets the win.
Awful booking. I see so much more potential and money in Jesse G than anyone else in this match. For the first time, I looked at Jesse and saw real aggression come out of him. He has a great look and some potential. The guy has worked hard to get better in the ring and has a gimmick that continues to be interesting. I wonder if Robbie E comes back and there is a split between the two. Who is better in the long run? I know one thing: The Menagerie might be more lame than Adam Rose and The Bunny. Maybe not.
Eric Young defeated Tyrus
EY hits an elbow and heads up to the top. Tyrus pushes him in the air and Young falls into the corner. A big punch and a body slam gets Tyrus a two count. Tyrus hits a back body drop and then tries to get to the top for a big splash. Tyrus misses and EY gets soem energy.
Here comes Young, with some punches and then a few clotheslines. Young bodyslams him and heads to the top. Spud stops Carter from interfering. Tyrus and Young are on the top rope. Finally, Young hits the elbow drop and picks up the win.
Tyrus comes to TNA and loses over and over again. Are you serious? What is the point for a guy that is 400 pounds to lose over and over. He NEEDS TO BE DOMINANT. He is bigger and badder than most guys, but TNA is using him to pick up losses for an undefeated Eric Young. I really have no idea what they want to accomplish with him. He loses to Young, when he should have dominated. Lashley comes out and attacks Eric Young after the match. He locks his arm in a chair and applies a submission hold. Lashley yells for Roode and out comes Austin Aries.
While I absolutely hated seeing Tyrus lose, I liked how TNA tied Lashley’s anger with two former champions. Roode gets the night off and we finally get Austin Aries back into the ring. He and Lashley can easily put on a great match on any given night. This could be the beginning of a Lashley face turn, or it could be Lashley being by himself and getting back to the top. He is too good in the ring to NOT be in some sort of main event storyline.
Is Lashley the best wrestler in TNA?
