TITUS O’NEIL
The “Big Deal” Titus O’Neil is a guy that should be doing a lot more in WWE. He stands 6-foot-four-inches, and has a 270+ pound physique of pure muscle; the “total package” according to laws of McMahon. The drawback is that he’s already 37-years-old, which I see as even more incentive for WWE to pull the trigger on him as a solid upper-mid-card star, or potential one-off challenger to the world title at some point. He’s got the look, the ability, the charisma – there’s really not discernible reason to not fully utilize this guy…
RUSEV
The new United States Champion is on an absolute roll right now. He’s beaten Jack Swagger, Big Show, Mark Henry, and most recently Sheamus, becoming the new “face” of America in the process.
In a recent blog, Jim Ross questioned why we should dislike Rusev. He represents his country, is a stand-out athlete, and has beaten every challenger in a clean, honorable fashion since arriving in WWE. Personally, I think it has something to do with Lana insulting America, trying to pull down an American flag and superkicking a soldier, but I digress…
The point remains that Rusev could use a little more heel heat. Joining the Authority for one night and helping them retain their power on RAW would provide him that. It also couldn’t hurt to have Triple H and Stephanie McMahon indebted to you (and I’m sure there’s a Lana promo about American debt in there somewhere).
