Mark Henry on The Authority’s Team
Mark Henry and Big Show work a pretty good match, a match that was much longer than I expected. Some of the highlights included Henry hitting the steel steps onto Show and then hitting a World’s Strongest slam onto the steel steps. I like the aggression of Mark Henry and the intensity he showed throughout.
Stephanie McMahon says that the ruthless aggression is what they need. Stephanie wants Mark Henry on the team. I think this is perfect and something that is much needed in the career of Mark Henry. He can be on their team and be a member of this group.
He is a much better choice for a bodyguard type guy than two cruiserweight and Kane. He is a student of the game and knows how to get booed and cheered at the same time. When healthy, he is great for a 400 pound man.
Nikki Bella defeated Emma
Nikki stretches out Emma on the mat. Emma hits a cross body and then whips her into the corner. Emma locks in a Tarantula and then gets hit with a dropkick. Nikki poses to the crowd and then hits Rack Attack for the win.
After the match, Nikki tells Brie to slap AJ, which she does. AJ tries to attack Nikki Bella and then she runs away.
AJ Lee and Nikki Bella intrigues me and this is a positive step for the direction. I like how we are not saturated with the Bella Twins on more than one segment. You can see the progression in the ring from Nikki Bella. With her feud with AJ, I expect her to put on the best match of her life. AJ Lee is just too good in the ring.
Rusev defeated Zack Ryder
Ryder hits a dropkick and tries a big boot. Rusev kicks him in the head and then locks in the Accolade for the win.
If WWE’s logic of giving Rusev the United States Championship on the WWE Network after Raw, why wouldn’t they wait until a bigger stage? Survivor Series is already free and this was rushed too soon. They could have gotten a really good 3 weeks from Sheamus and Rusev. This confuses me because Rusev NEEDS that big stage to stand out and be recognized.
