Dolph Ziggler defeated Kane
Kane starts off with punches and kicks to the IC Champion. Kane hip tosses Ziggler back into the ring. Dolph is able to hit a neckbreaker and throws Kane to the outside. He dropkicks Kane and we head to a commercial break.
Ziggler is able to counter with a dropkick and Dolph is able to punch away in the corner. Kane hits a big chop and then covers Ziggler. Dolph is able to fight back and then hit an elbow drop. Kane hits a side slam, but Ziggler still stays in the match. Ziggler hits a Fameasser and a superkick. Ziggler slides out of a chokeslam and rolls up Kane to pick up the victory.
It was not a bad match, but it seemed like it was just a step off. Dolph Ziggler picks up the win and it was the RIGHT CHOICE. Seth Rollins comes out and blasts Ziggler. They target the champion. This should be an even more reason for Ziggler to join Cena’s team. Faces want to get revenge. Luckily, John Cena comes out and takes out Kane. Rollins runs away from Cena.
The ending was much better than the actual match. It was also a really nice transition into the main event of the night.
Seth Rollins and John Cena Main Event Raw
This was a really good match between two complete opposites. John Cena starts with a game of cat and mouse. He chases Rollins around the ring until he finally gets his hands on him. He tosses Rollins onto the announce table and hits a few clotheslines. We head to a commercial break and come back with Rollins in full control. He hits a big dropkick and a DDT, followed by a knee from the top rope. Rollins gets some help from Noble and Mercury, who are now Rollins’ full-time security. Cena barely beats being counted out. Rollins unloads with more punches and kicks to him.
John Cena hits a back body drop and a 5 Knuckle Shuffle. Cena launches Rollins into the security on the outside. They get back into the ring and Rollins hits a spinning heel kick. Cena hits a tornado DDT and Rollins kicks out again. Seth Rollins connects with an excellent reverse neckbreaker. Rollins launches a powerbomb into the corner and gets another two count. Cena reverses a Curb Stomp and locks in the STF. Kane interferes and beats down John Cena. Dolph Ziggler comes in and helps out Cena. The entire Raw locker room comes out and fights with everyone.
John Cena stands tall to end the night. You got to think that Randy Orton will join Cena, as well as Dolph Ziggler. I am not sure who else they want to add, but they have options. The ending gave us the entire roster coming out and fighting. They are trying to make it seem so important and really intense up until Survivor Series. Everyone should try and put their names on that list for the main event. Good guys team with Cena, while the heels team with The Authority. Simple and logical. I do want to see some championship matches. You cannot put all of the main talent in one match. Spread the wealth.
By the way, Rollins vs. Cena was great entertainment. The action was excellent and the pacing was so smooth and effective. It just shows you that Cena can keep up with the best of them.
