Title This: Smackdown Reaction “Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins Save Smackdown From Disaster”

Bo Dallas and The Dust Brothers defeated The Uso’s and Mark Henry

smackdown reactionStardust punches away at Jey Uso and Jey hits a headbutt. Jimmy gets into the ring and immediately gets a knee to the stomach. Jimmy hits a hip toss and then punches Stardust and clothesline to the outside. After a commercial break, Goldust applies a headlock and then Jimmy battles out. Jimmy hits another kick to Goldust and finally gets the tag to Mark Henry. He knocks down Bo Dallas and then tosses Goldust to the outside. Mark Henry catches Stardust, but he slides out of it. Jey hits a body splash to the outside. Mark Henry throws Bo Dallas to the corner and Henry hits World Strongest Slam. Bo hits Bo Dog for the win.

I am not really sure how to dissect this match. They focused more on Bo Dallas and Mark Henry, based on the ending, over a tag team championship match on Sunday. They still have some hope for Bo Dallas, even though Mark Henry has much more value in the WWE. I would love to see Henry turn heel and join The Authority. They need to do something because Henry is in the best shape of his career. He looks quicker and leaner, which is a great thing to see from him.

Seth Rollins Calls Out Dean Ambrose

Out comes Mr. Money in the Bank, who reminds us that he sold out. He talks about all of the weapons that he will use at Hell in a Cell. He shows chairs, tables, handcuffs and more. He calls out Dean Ambrose and then shows his celebration from WWE Raw. Dean Ambrose comes from behind and takes out the security. He punches Rollins and the security tries to break them apart.

Rollins, Mercury and Noble beat down Dean Ambrose. Ambrose hits a massive clothesline and then an underhook DDT onto Mercury. He then grabs Mercury and then sets him on the table. Ambrose hits a diving elbow and crashes through the table. He gets Jamie Noble and repeats his move.

This was a really good finish. WWE is trying to get you to believe that Seth Rollins will be all by himself on Sunday. Are we supposed to forget about Kane? Triple H? Orton? There are so many questions and so many different roads that WWE takes on Sunday. There was not much more they could do to hype Rollins vs. Ambrose. Smackdown fell flat, but this segment was by far the best of the night.
