This week’s Stars in Progress is a short one.
There was a lot of WRESTLING on Monday Night RAW this week, but I’m not sure how much actual movement was made on the roster, outside of the key players.
The rating was the 2nd lowest of 2014, and I’ve said this a hundred times and I’ll say it again – wrestling doesn’t draw ratings. Live sex celebrations draw. Weird “This is Your Life” segments draw. One of the only times “wrestling” drew big in the ratings was when WCW told its fans to go watch RAW.
I enjoyed the show more than usual, so I’m not complaining as a fan, but from a business standpoint, this week’s rating cannot be ignored.
