Stars in Progress: Luke Harper Rising, Dean Ambrose Carrying RAW, New Feature Debut of “The Championship Round”

The Championship Round

World Heavyweight: Zzzz…

Intercontinental: Well, Dolph didn’t lose the title this week, so I guess we’ll give the title a step up. Solid 3-way match on RAW that gives Ziggler wins he desperately needs.

United States: Who’s the champ? Sheamus…? I guess that sort of speaks for itself. No step in either direction, because I honestly find it difficult to remember what’s happening with that title every week.

Tag Team: Big step down. No champions on RAW this week, and The Usos don’t seem all that hungry to get their titles back. Were they actually smiling and laughing last week after losing the belts? Come on… I’m still not a believer in Stardust. I like Cody, but I want to change the channel every time they cut a promo. It’s the kind of segment you’d never want to watch with your friends in the room (which is most of RAW).

Divas: Brie Bella (read: the “YES” chant) is more over than AJ Lee and the Divas title. The title gets a HUGE step down this week. The champ lost to a non-contender in very short order; even with outside interference, it makes AJ and the belt look terrible. There were THREE Divas segments on RAW this week, not including anything Lana did, and the title picture was the one I remember the least about. Just put the belt on Nikki already so we can stop pretending the creative team cares about women’s wrestling.
