#5 – Charlotte
To take nothing away from Paige, or any of the other Divas, Charlotte is the undisputed Queen of NXT right now. She won the title in a great tournament that helped continue spotlighting the belt each and every week. Hardly an episode goes by where the champ isn’t shown at least once. She’s in actual frequently, and might be incapable of having a bad match. In terms of in-ring quality, I think Natalya might be the only better wrestler, and that’s only because she’s a legitimate veteran after more than six years with the company.
Speaking of Natalya, the match she had with Charlotte at the last two-hour special was not only the best women’s match NXT had ever seen, but one of the best women’s matches WWE has put on in over a decade. It had the emotional and physical depth of a Trish Stratus vs. Lita main event, and was the type of contest I’ve always wanted to see WWE have at a WrestleMania caliber PPV. Charlotte is the total package in the Divas division, and once she arrives on the main roster, she’s going to make the Total Divas look like a joke.
