Los Matadores defeated Slater Gator
I am okay with the idea of WWE trying new things. This seems completely random and unnecessary. Titus is a good talent on his own and Slater should be utilized much differently. Together, they are comical but absolutely out of place. Another segment where it meant absolutely nothing.
Who do you want to see in a tag team?
1. Zack Ryder
2. Titus O’Neil
3. Tyson Kidd
4. None of the Above, bring up The Ascension
Bo Dallas defeated Kofi Kingston
Kingston hits a dropkick and then a cross body for a two count. Dallas catches him off-guard with a running knee and then gets caught with a dropkick. Kofi gets on top and hits 10 punches. He gets his feet up and then Dallas pushes Kofi off the top rope. He sets him up ( and kind of misses) the Bo-Dog. Dallas slips on the rope and picks up the win…still.
The match was a little sloppy and a little boring. Kofi Kingston and Bo Dallas were only given a few minutes. Bo Dallas says Swagger did not “Bolieve” and Swagger comes from behind and hits him with a big suplex before heading out. Again, it was just okay. Nothing great and little meaning. I feel like a broken record. This night has been a big swing and a miss.
John Cena hits a massive clothesline and then a suplex. He hits a few more suplexes and then punches Bray Wyatt in the corner. Cena hits a German Suplex and stares at Wyatt. Bray Wyatt fights back with a few elbows and then a big splash into the corner. He gets him down with a double leg take down. Harper and Rowan attack Cena. Out comes Mark Henry and Big Show. The match erupts and we head to a break.
Six man tag team match ensues with Rowan working on Henry. He hits a clothesline and then Bray Wyatt gets into the ring. Rowan hits a big body slam and Harper gets back into the ring. Big Show gets in the ring and gets hit with a dropkick from Harper. Rowan hits a big boot and Bray gets back in. The family beats down Big Show for a while until he finally tags in Cena. Big Show hits a chokeslam onto Bray and tags in Cena. He unloads and then hits a German Suplex onto Harper. He punches Harper multiple times and locks in the STF. Harper taps out and Cena stands tall. He hits an AA onto Rowan for good measure, as well as Bray Wyatt.
A really bad night of Raw ended with Cena on top. I get it, I really do. I may have liked this a little more if Cena hit an F5. That would have been poetic justice and some foreshadowing. WWE really missed Orton, Lesnar, Heyman, Ambrose, Jericho and more talents that help put on a complete show. It was just boring and had no real meaning aside from John Cena trying to reinvent himself.
