Cesaro is New Contender To Sheamus
Cesaro picked up a victory over Rob Van Dam. The match itself was very generic. It seems like Rob Van Dam is in cruise control in the ring and rarely mixes things up. When was the last time we saw something new from him? Cesaro is on the defensive for the duration of the match, until he hits a Neutralizer and focuses his attention on Sheamus.
Sheamus vs. Cesaro is a really good pairing. Both guys have such great chemistry and know how to strategically attack the other. With their history and their fighting backgrounds, this will very physical and somewhat surprising on the athletic side. I just worry that the feud will not have much depth to it and will only focus on what they can do inside the ring.
Paige defeated Natalya
Natalya reverses a submission hold and hits a suplex. She locks in the Sharpshooter and Paige desperately grabs the ropes. Paige ends up locking in her submission hold, but reverses it. Paige fights out of it and then hits a Paige Turner for the victory.
It was a simplistic and easy booked match. Nattie picked up two straight wins over Paige, so Paige needed to win. AJ Lee comes out after the match, thank God, and distracts Paige. AJ Lee circles the ring and Natalya hits a big clothesline. AJ Lee helps up Paige and hugs her. She then kisses the hand of the champion and circles around her. Mind games continue and I am all for it. I would not mind Natalya being inserted to make it a Triple Threat Match to spice things up a bit. We need a wild card in this feud.
