Cesaro defeated Jack Swagger
Cesaro starts the match by working on his arm. Jack Swagger sends Cesaro to the corner and hits a big boot. Swagger Bomb connects and he gets a two count. Cesaro blocks a suplex and tosses him on the top rope. Swagger grabs at his ribs and Cesaro smacks him with an elbow. Swagger blocks a boot and gets him in the Patriot Lock. He locks it in again and Cesaro hits the Neutalizer out of nowhere to pick up the win.
It looks like WWE is going to build this losing streak with Swagger. He is going to be a guy who has to overcome adversity. Swagger losing sets up Bo Dallas, who comes to the stage. Dallas says 318 million Americans were let down at SummerSlam. He says Swagger lost Zeb, his self-respect and his dignity. He says Swagger can get it all back if he “Bolieve.”
Well, that was interesting and excellent. Bo Dallas has been mismanaged recently. This could be a perfect feud for Dallas right now. WWE does not want him to be a face, so put him up against the man who is struggling to honor his country.
Roman Reigns, Rob Van Dam and Sheamus defeated Rybaxel and Randy Orton
WWE Raw Reaction continues with a 6 man tag team match.
RVD and Orton get things going. Orton works away at RVD until he is able to hit a Rolling Thunder. Sheamus hits ten chops to Ryback’s chest and Axel hammers away at Sheamus. Orton pulls the rope down and Sheamus is tossed to the outside. Orton hits an excellent backbreaker into the timekeeper’s area. Ryback gets into the ring and fires away at Sheamus.Ryback stomps a mud hole into Sheamus. He applies a front face lock and then a stalling suplex. Finally, Roman Reigns gets into the action. He hits a Samoan Drop onto Axel and then unloads onto Ryback. He stalks his prey and hits his patented kick to Axel. Reigns hits a Superman Punch onto Axel and Ryback. Randy Orton hits Reigns with a backbreaker and RVD hits a cross body for two.
The finish comes when RVD kicks Axel in the face and a split leg moonsault almost gets the win. Ryback gets a Brogue Kick, while Orton hits RKO and Reigns hits a Spear. Rob Van Dam finishes the match with a 5 Star Frog Splash.
This was an excellent match. 6 man tag team matches continue to be an excellent part of WWE Raw on a weekly basis. Randy Orton and Roman Reigns were protected, while Sheamus and RVD take most of the work. How about the crazy cheers for hometown boy Ryback? Wow, this crowd was hungry for the big guy.
Bray Wyatt and Chris Jericho Continue Their Feud
Chris Jericho is interviewed by Renee Young. He says he looked into the eyes of Bray Wyatt last night and saw nothing. He said his loss hurt, but he will always have a fire inside burning and the best fans in the world.
Bray Wyatt says Jericho saw inside of himself last night. He says that Wyatt will never be able to comprehend what he truly is. He calls himself the new face of salvation.
Simple. Logical. WWE did not go all the way tonight because they have four weeks to continue to build a three month long feud. Wyatt being salvation could easily connect with Jericho being a savior every time he comes back. Give me Jericho circa 2008. You need to have an intense, angry, physical and aggressive Y2J for the next month. Make us want Jericho to come back, not be relieved that he left.
