Wrestlezone’s Top 10 WWE Battleground Predictions & Drinking Game

Prediction: It’s the Feud That Never Ends…

the usosThis is what happens when you only have a small handful of tag teams at a time, and there’s only like 2 or 3 of them that can work a solid PPV match that people will actually want to spend money on. I swear we’ve seen more Uso/Wyatt matches this year than Santino/Fandango mixed tag matches. And you know what?? Just because they’re wrestling in a 2-of-3 falls match at Battleground doesn’t mean it’s the end of the line. If the Wyatts manage to win the titles, we’re still going to get the obligatory rematch on Raw. If you think they both won’t be involved with the titles at SummerSlam, well…you’re wrong. I’m not complaining too much, because they’re still very good together, but I have no idea where they can even go after this. They’ve done very little to actually build up another pair of credible contenders. Rybaxel is decent, and I’m actually a fan of their team, but I can’t see them in the same “high profile” role that the Usos have been playing this year, doing run-ins for Daniel Bryan and John Cena.

Drinking Game: drink if they do the obligatory dive to the outside spot.

Prediction: “We Want Lesnar”

The crowd is going to chant “We Want Lesnar” at some point. Despite the fact that he ENDED THE UNDERTAKER’S STREAK THREE MONTHS AGO, that’s how much fans love to hate John Cena. The smarks know Cena is winning, and they know we’re getting Cena/Lesnar II at SummerSlam next month, so the chants are bound to happen. Whether or not we actually get Brock Lesnar is a different story. Since Cena is off the next two weeks of RAW, one might assume that a certain somebody will show up, attack Cena, and write him off television for the next few weeks. Who knows, maybe they’ll even have the Authority tease stripping John of the title because he’s “unable to compete”, only to have him show up and book the match against Brock. In fact, I’d be surprised if that’s not EXACTLY what happens.

Drinking Game: drink every time the crowd starts chanting something irrelevant
