Bully Ray calls out Rhino and talks to him about making history in the business. Rhino tells him to shut his mouth and he will give him answers to why he turned on Bully. Rhino says he was sitting at home and watching the Hall of Fame and calls Bully Ray a con man. He asks where Devon is, and says Ray uses people to his advantage. Ray says he let the Carter’s brainwash him. He says it is jealously as well. They yell back and forth to one another until Carter, Spud and Rhino attack him. Tommy Dreamer comes out and saves his friend.
I was not invested into this as much as I was last week. It just seemed like an easy way out to get Rhino to turn on Bully Ray. I am okay with bringing Rhino and Dreamer in if it benefits the younger talent, but I doubt that happens. Do Dreamer and Rhino really sell to the fans anymore?

Gail Kim defeated Madison Rayne, Velvet Sky and Brittany in a Four Way Match to Retain the Knockouts Championship
The veteran really takes control of the match from the get-go, as Kim hits a nice spinning kick to Brittany. Love drags Kim tot he outside while Brittany yells at Madison and hits a DDT. Brittany works with Love to take out Rayne. They hit a few elbow drops to try and eliminate Rayne. Brittany and Love end up brawling and Kim gets back into the ring. Madison connects with a Rayne Drop. Love hits her finisher, but Gail hits Eat Defeat onto Love for the win.
This seemed a little crowded at times in the ring, but it enhanced two feuds in one match. Kim is still one of the best women’s wrestlers in the world and her timing and smooth execution shows you why. I love watching her cross body and how she is able to elevate the younger women in the match.

Jeff Hardy wins the 20 Man Battle Royal to Earn a Championship Match
This was a typical battle royal. Bully Ray hits a clothesline onto EC3 and eliminates himself in the process. Kenny King is with Bobby Roode, Eric Young and Jeff Hardy. The ending was pretty obvious. Eric Young already had his rematch and we knew it was too soon in the turn of Roode to give him a championship match. It was absolutely the right call for Jeff Hardy to win. He is the most marketable and known wrestler in TNA (Aside from Kurt Angle). I liked the Willow gimmick, but it hid the personality and marketing tools that TNA could use for Hardy. He is the most intriguing and exciting guy, still, in TNA. Hardy vs. Lashley in NYC is worthy of that billing in such a big city.
