#5 – Natalya
Hands down, Nattie Neidhart is the best in-ring competitor in the Divas division. Having been trained by the Harts, she’s one of the best in-ring Divas of all time. If WWE more consistently cared about match quality, she would have worked half a dozen 4-star PPV classics by the point in her career, much like her recent match against Charlotte for the NXT Women’s Championship.
Recently Natalya has been more an active part of the NXT roster than the main roster, which isn’t a bad thing. Given the depth of the women in WWE over the past few years, she’s done most of what she can do. Instead, she’s now helping build the stars of tomorrow, such as the aforementioned Charlotte, Summer Rae, Paige, and Sasha Banks. She’s also a part of Total Divas, and her marriage to Tyson Kidd has spilled into a pretty decent main event story on NXT with champion Adrian Neville. I personally think this is a great role for her, as she’s able to get on TV, help people who need to get over, and occasionally wrestle really high quality matches.
#4 – Alicia Fox
I’ve heard mixed opinions about Alicia Fox’s new psycho character, but I. LOVE. IT. Yeah, I know AJ Lee just did the “crazy” gimmick not to long ago, but it was never taken to THIS kind of extreme. I’m a little disappointed she had her month of feuding with the champion, and is now pretty lost in the shuffle, but it’s OK because she has an actual character that can easily be placed into a program with any of the girls (or guys) on the roster.
