CineSport had me on last night to give my reaction to John Cena, Seth Rollins and Daniel Bryan.
I said on CineSport weeks ago and Chair Shot Reality this past week, Cena was the best option considering where WWE is at right now. We also discussed Rollins winning the briefcase and my reaction to Bryan saying he might need another surgery.
Every Monday and Friday I write a wrestling column for the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. The following is an excerpt:
John Cena is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion — again. In the words of Batista, “Deal with it.”
You shouldn't just deal with it, you should like it. Odds are you're a Daniel Bryan fan — pretty much everyone is. Cena provides the best avenue for Bryan's return and for it to be relevant.
If Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt or Cesaro wins the title, it would be their first championship. Fans would gravitate to any of them. Bryan would continue to fade away if he's not on television every week.
I'm hearing a lot of complaining about Cena winning. WWE knows what it will get with Cena as champion. Half the crowd likes it, half doesn't.
