You Have Spoken – Wrestlezone’s Top 10 Things Our Readers Want to See From Jeff Jarrett’s Global Force Wrestling Promotion

#7 – Global Force Wrestling

I know this seems like a cheat answer, but there's a very good reason that I feel people just simple WANT Global Force Wrestling. One of the survey questions was a poll asking people to rate their excitement towards GFW and its debut. Out of 1,623 people who voted, 64% of people said they were "definitely" or "most likely" going to watch the promotion. Another 30% of people rated their excitement at Average, stating they would watch the show if it got good reviews. Only 4% of readers said they weren't interested, and a negligible 2% said they "would never" watch Global Force Wrestling when it debuted.

Those are very, very good numbers. If we took a poll for how people felt about TNA Wrestling right now, it would come out between 40-50% in the "not interested" or "would never" column, and that's a conservative estimation in my opinion. Nothing against TNA personally, but that's their public image on the dirt sheets these days.

What I think you can take away from these numbers is that people are genuinely excited for Jeff and Karen to launch their product. But the #1 most important thing to realize is that Jeff coming out of TNA – at least looking at these initial stats – has not hurt him in any significant way. Whether it's because people don't hold the Jarretts responsible for bad decisions made in TNA, or because they've forgotten already, whatever the case may be Global Force Wrestling has a clean slate.
