Title This: WWE Raw Reaction “WWE Trying To Bring Importance Back To Intercontinental Championship”

The Undercard

wwe raw reactionRybaxel defeated Cody Rhodes and Goldust in a match with two teams that are trying to get back to a level of importance Axel is beaten down by the brothers, as Cody hits a body slam and a unique pinfall. Rhodes works on Axel's arm and makes another quick tag. Goldust hits Axel in the stomach and a running knee. Axel knocks Goldust down with a club to the back and kicks away in the corner. After some nice tag team chemistry, Goldust is finally able to tag in his brother. Cody hits a moonsault onto Ryback and flies to the outside to take him out. Cody throws Ryback back into the ring and hits a missle dropkick. Rhodes hits a disaster kick onto Axel and Ryback hits him with a huge clothesline for the win.

Reaction: It looks like Rybaxel are goign to be in line for a tag team title match. It makes sense since the champions are faces. I would love to see Cody and Goldust get back to the top of the tag team division, but this is the most logical and sensible booking. I was more impressed with Rybaxel as a team after this match than I have been in a long time. Solid match.

Score: 6.5/10

Paige defeated Alicia Fox in the debut of Paige as Divas Champion. Paige shoves Fox to the ground and grabs her hair. She hits a headbutt and Fox hits a beautiful backbreaker. Fox hits another one and the champion is down. Fox grabs her by the hair and hits a third backbreaker. Paige is sent to the outside to regroup. Fox slows the pace with a head lock and Fox panders to the crowd. Paige hits a big kick to the stomach that echos through the crowd. She hits a clothesline and then another. Paige hits a dropkick and ultimately locks in her submission move, which looks very strong. Fox taps out and Paige wins.

Reaction: I really enjoyed this match for a Divas match. Fox looked at her best in a long time with some new moves, while Paige overcame multiple backbreakers. Paige has a great and different look. Her vs. Fox may not have been an incredible match, but the booking was excellent to showcase the champion in multiple facets.

Score: 6/10

The Uso's vs. Batista and Randy Orton ends in No Contest

Reaction: Once again, WWE goes the logical and long term way. After an exciting match, Orton is attacked by The Shield on the outside. They focus their attention on Batista and both men escape. I really liked this because you are going to get The Shield vs. three members of The Authority. That is the bigger storyline and one that needs to continue to get attention. I would like to see more involvement from Kane. That will come in time and will be a great 6 man match. What is the stipulation? Also, When will Jimmy and Jey find real competitors and a storyline for just themselves?

Score: 7/10

Alexander Rusev defeated Xavier Woods

Reaction: I know he is new, but I need to see Rusev in a match that is longer than two minutes. This one comes in at under 1. Lana is the more impressive one right now. What is the point of Rusev being attacked by Truth? It's not like Truth is a threat. I want more importance from Rusev, not the typical build of a big man.

Score: 4/10

Fandango and Layla defeated Santino and Emma. Does anyone really care about this match? I sure don't. If Summer Rae isn't on my television with Fandango, it seems to not be as important.

Score: 3/10
