This Week in Indie Wrestling
-There were plenty of shows in New Orleans during WrestleMania week. I have yet to hear a full report from WrestleCon, but received a lot of mixed reactions from various people. Some loved it, others weren't blown away.
–Ring of Honor held Supercard of Honor VIII and I've heard the show itself was fantastic. A lot of highly anticipated matches, like Adam Cole and Jey Briscoe is a Ladder War. I have enjoyed watching the former C&C Wrestle Factory guys break out on their own, paying their dues in singles competition against some high profile names. No AJ Styles this time around, as he just happened to be in Japan doing something amazing. I just purchased the on-demand replay of the show, so a review will be coming in the next 24 hours.
–2CW has a show in New York this Friday that I encourage everyone to check out. Better news, they will be putting on their first paid iPPV, and it's only $10, so you have no excuse. Last year they did two free iPPV events to test out various streaming methods, and both were flawless. I think their production could probably use a face lift, but they are a young company, likely without a ton of money for production, and for 9-10,000 people watching, the streams held up remarkably well.
