WrestleMania Recap
Just in case you somehow managed to miss WrestleMania 30 AND failed to read up on the results, here's a brief run-down of everything that happened:
-Hulk Hogan, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and The Rock kicked off the show. They all put each other over, celebrated the history of WrestleMania, and Hogan called the Superdome the Silverdome.
-Daniel Bryan beat Triple H to advance to the main event.
-The Shield beat Kane and the New Age Outlaws in a quick match.
-Cesaro won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal by body slamming Big Show, who was wearing his classic "Andre" singlet. It was awesome.
-John Cena beat Bray Wyatt in a very good match.
-Brock Lesnar defeated The Undertaker. Yes, really.
-AJ Lee retained her title against literally the entire Divas roster.
-Daniel Bryan defeated Batista and Randy Orton to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
Overall it was an incredible show with both of Daniel Bryan's matches stealing WrestleMania. Cena and Wyatt had the third best match on the official card, but the pre-show 4-way tag match was slightly better for my money. The only true disappointment was Lesnar/Undertaker, and that's mostly because 'Taker suffered a concussion early in the match, and Brock didn't know how to carry the action on that kind of level. It was a great nice with tons of "do you remember when?" moments we'll be talking about 10-15 years from now.
