#9 – "Macho Man" Randy Savage
Speaking of WrestleMania III, here's one of the guys who stole the show and worked one of the best matches in WWE history, the "Macho Man" Randy Savage.
That match was the start of something big – it skyrocketed Savage into a Hall of Fame worthy career. You hear that Vince and Triple H? A HALL OF FAME WORTHY CAREER!
Mach' won the WWE Championship at WrestleMania IV in the first ever tournament on pay-per-view. He held it for an entire year, building up to one of the most anticipated collisions of all time. The Mega Powers exploded at WrestleMania V as Randy Savage faced Hulk Hogan in the main event of main events.
And although a career-threatening match against Ultimate Warrior wasn't technically the main event, it was definitely Savage's face on the poster for WrestleMania VIII, when he faced "Nature Boy" Ric Flair for the WWE Championship in 1992.
