Daniel Bryan vs Triple H
Monday's RAW once again did exactly what it needed to do to sell the story between Daniel Bryan and Triple H. Hunter and Stephanie's work on commentary was incredible, and the closing moments of the show was a chaotic masterpiece.
Triple H was flopping around like a fish out of water during Bryan's attack. It was a sign of respect.
I expect three quarters of this match on Sunday to be great in-ring action. I'm taking a wait-and-see approach for the final quarter. Triple H will throw everything he has at Daniel to try and keep him from the main event, but will Hunter complete the ULTIMATE sign of respect at the end of it, and give Bryan the clean win?
Some have thrown around the idea of a screwy finish that could even lead to a four-way match for the title where Hunter AND Bryan end up end in the match. I don't buy that. Triple H's role in all of this is to elevate Bryan, and Bryan alone.
This qualifying match between the two of them, one on one, is the best chance at Hunter doing just that.
My Prediction: Daniel Bryan def. Triple H (clean)
