#2 – Daniel Bryan vs. Shawn Michaels
The minute Shawn Michaels kicked Daniel Bryan in the face at Hell in a Cell, I wanted to see this match. I thought to myself, "it had to happen". I would have put money on it happening at WrestleMania, even if Shawn didn't want to come out of retirement. After all, why run this angle if he didn't want to have the payoff?
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for Bryan and I look forward to the main event of WrestleMania. But Shawn is one of the best wrestlers of all time, if not THE best ever. Daniel Bryan is that, but in this generation. Shawn had the promo skills and the political power to do whatever he wanted for years. Bryan isn't as lucky, but he's 100% the in-ring worker in my eyes. Keep in mind he's a veteran in the industry, despite not having been in WWE all that long.
Put aside the crazy amount of support Bryan has had since not winning the Rumble. Now it's inevitable that he wins the title. But at Hell in a Cell, that wasn't so clear. Bryan was over, but he wasn't "make this guy win or we burn your house to the ground" over. Plus, any wrestling fan that doesn't want to see Shawn Michaels vs. Daniel Bryan is an idiot.
