#9 – Mark Henry vs. Literally Anyone
In 2011 Mark Henry totally reinvented himself and turned his entire career around, inventing the "Hall of Pain" and winning the World Heavyweight Championship. Since then, however, Henry has been lost in obscurity, due mostly to a string of injuries, with the rest of the blame falling on inconsistent booking and bad creative planning. Seriously, he's a giant with a "World's Strongest Man" gimmick – how hard is it to find memorable things for Henry to do?
In 2013 he had a brief run at the WWE Championship, in a great mini-feud with John Cena that ultimately…went nowhere. In early 2014 he got attacked and dismantled by Brock Lesnar in a mini-feud that ultimately…went nowhere. I get that he's in the twilight of his career, and giving back to the roster is part of the gig, but Mark Henry has transformed into one of the most entertaining guys on the roster, and not using that properly at this year's WrestleMania is a giant waste of talent.
He will be involved in the 30-man Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal – which we're going to call A.R.M.B.A.R. from this point forward (the 'R' is for Roussimoff). That said, when was the last time we actually saw Mark Henry? Wad he ever really advertised for the match? We all know Andre's illegitimate son Big Show is a front-runner to win the whole thing, but what about the other super heavyweight in the match? The chaotic brawl from Raw this week should have ended with Mark Henry and Big Show staring each other down, not Big Show decimating half the roster. Henry is money, and WWE is leaving it on the table.
