– John Cena comes out and thanks the fans for the warm Chicago welcome. John Cena says he respects the city of Chicago and that he always hears the fans and will always know the fans are honest and loud. He says he has given the last 12 years of his life to the WWE. He says that his career
started here in 2002 and that he is doing the same thing now that he did back then. The Wyatt Family interrupts. Bray Wyatt he says that the championship man starts to slow down and he is looking for the next finish line. Wyatt talks about Cena's reality and says his mercy is calling him by name. Bray Wyatt says he is going to put John Cena down. He says he is going to take everything away from John Cena.
Reaction: I liked how Bray Wyatt talked about how John Cena keeps winning championships, but this is about more than that. John Cena needs to be in a completely different feud this year and Bray is the perfect guy to tap into some unused potential Cena has. How this plays out is something I cannot predict because Bray is a complex and unique character. John Cena has never faced a character like this on the big stage. It has always been about "respect" or a championship, but not this year.

The Story of Daniel Bryan
-Daniel Bryan comes out and says the crowd has a voice. Daniel Bryan says he will not leave this ring until Batista comes down to fight or until Triple H comes down here to answer his challenge. Triple H's music hits and here comes The Game and Stephanie McMahon. Steph starts by saying that she cannot believe he is trying to hijack Raw. Bryan fires back and says he wants to fight him at WrestleMania. Triple H says its going to take a lot more than a B+ player for him to lace up his boots. Daniel Bryan says the fans chant because the fans see through his lies. Bryan says he does not listen to the people, for their obvious desire to see people like him succeed.
Stephanie McMahon asks why she should listen to these people. She says they will turn on a dime and faster than he realizes. Stephanie says that her and Triple H made Daniel Bryan. Triple H says that it is not going to happen at WrestleMania. Triple H tells Bryan to get out of his ring, but Bryan says that this is their (the fans) ring. Kane comes down and Bryan attacks Kane. Stephanie calls for security and then separate Bryan from Kane.
Daniel Bryan vs. Batista
The two men lock up and Bryan kicks Batista in the knee. Bryan focuses on the knee and dropkicks it. Bryan locks in a half nelson and Batista kicks him in the shoulder. Bryan gets clotheslined by Batista and The Animal is in control. We head to a commercial break. Bryan gets his offense going and hits a running dropkick in to the corner twice. Bryan hits a suicide dive to the outside. Mutiple kicks to Batista gives Bryan a two count. Batista throws Bryan into the steel steps and throws him into Randy Orton. Orton comes into the ring and Bryan hits a running knee . He takes out Kane and Bryan is lying waste to everybody. Batista hits a spear onto Daniel Bryan. Triple H separates Kane from Bryan. Byran kicks Triple H in the face. Batista hits a Batista Bomb onto Daniel Bryan. Triple H hits a Pedigree onto Daniel Bryan and Stephanie does the "yes" chant. This ends WWE Raw.
Reaction: This feels real. That is why people love seeing Daniel Bryan talk about his career in the ring. He is a likeable guy who does all the right things and does them better than anyone else. His promo with Triple H and Stephanie is obviously scripted, but there is so much truth between the lines that people can read. It is going to be Bryan vs. Triple H, but will that lead to him getting a chance to fight for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the end of the night? I would have liked to see more from the champion. This night really made us forget about Randy Orton, which is something that should NEVER happen.
