Wrestlezone’s Top Ten WWE Elimination Chamber Participants

#5 – John Cena

John Cena is a pretty diverse Elimination Chamber performer. He's won a title, defended a title, lost a title, and won an all expenses paid trip to WrestleMania. All of that while only eliminating three people total in his four Chamber matches. He's got a 75% win rate in these things – that's pretty much why he's on the list.

In 2006 Cena competed in his first Chamber match, successfully defending the  WWE Championship against Kurt Angle, Carltio, Chris Masters, Kane and Shawn Michaels. That was the year he won the match, and still managed to drop the title to Edge. Three years later Cena returned to the structure, this time defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Edge, Chris Jericho, Kane, Mike Knox and Rey Mysterio. Again, Edge bested him in the end. But the next year Cena stepped back inside the Chamber to fight for a title that wasn't his, defeating Sheamus to win. And in 2011, Cena moved past Sheamus again, as well as CM Punk, Randy Orton, John Morrison and R-Truth to face The Miz for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania.

Nobody can deny John Cena's success, but his Elimination Chamber numbers are deceptive. Sure he's won three of them, putting him in second place for all-time Chamber wins, but he's also entered the match from the #6 spot three different times. You've got to respect that win rate, but let's face it – Carlito has the same number of eliminations. Still, it all comes down to who walks out of the Chamber victorious, and three times out of four that man was John Cena.
