Title This: WWE Smackdown Reaction “Kane Needs To Mask Up”

The Undercard

wwe smackdown reactionDean Ambrose and Roman Reigns defeated Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler to kick off the action on WWE Smackdown. I really liked this tag team match for a few reasons. I cannot recall a time where it was just Reigns and Ambrose teaming together. Rollins is such a good second man, WWE never tried to pair Ambrose and Reigns together to team up. I really cannot praise Reigns enough because of how good and athletic of a muscle he really is. Ziggler got plenty of offense in, including a beautiful dropkick and DDT onto Reigns. Roman Reigns would end up hitting a Superman punch and a spear. Instead of pinning Ziggler, he tagged Ambrose in to get the cover. I loved the psychology between Reigns and Ambrose right now. It seems like jealously is the best piece to the separation of this group. Will Rollins be jealous of Reigns as well? You have to add that third piece in to really get the best out of all three men.

Sheamus defeated Ryback . For the first time in a while, I can write about Ryback having a solid match. The last time I remember writing something positive for him was his matches against Punk or Bryan. Sheamus and Ryback work just under ten minutes in a match that saw plenty of reversals. Ryback reversed a Brogue Kick into an impressive powerbomb. The sheer strength and intensity of Ryback is never questioned, but his dedication and chemistry in the ring does. Sheamus finally was able to hit a Brogue Kick for the win. I can see Sheamus picking up victory after victory against what WWE perceives as "great talent" or "impressive wins." We all know who the jobber to the main event stars are these days. Sheamus will continue to fight them.

Score: 5/10

AJ Lee defeated Nikki Bella. Nothing to really note here besides Nikki looking like she put on a few pounds of muscle. It may be only because she dated John Cena, but I can see her action inside the ring very similar to his. Her offense is very simple and very cautious. There is not something that will "wow" you with her. AJ Lee gets the victory by making her tap out. WWE needs fresh Divas and faces for Lee. Bella does not do it for me.

Score: 3/10

Bray Wyatt defeated Goldust in an average match. I thought Bray did an excellent job telling a story inside the ring, even though the work inside was not smooth. You can tell that it is going to take time for opponents to mesh with Bray's unique style in the ring. If anyone knows this, it should be Goldust. Bray hits Sister Abigail onto Goldust for the win.

Wyatt's and Shield Thrive

It is very simple: WWE is cashing in on the two most intriguing stables in quite some time. Like I said on Chair Shot Reality this weekend, they need to enhance the feud by adding BOTH teams backstage in segments. Let the Wyatt Family try and out think Dean Ambrose. Let Roman Reigns try and attack a larger guy like Luke Harper. I want to see them face to face, backstage and become even MORE creative than we are seeing. They are so different, but excel in some of the same areas in WWE.
