The Authority starts the show and basically bashes Daniel Bryan when he comes out to talk. In case you didn't know, Daniel Bryan is OVER. Completely OVER! The guy gets that incredible organic feeling from the crowd. He may not sell the most t-shirts, but there will be a riot if WWE does not do the right thing with him. He gets booked in a match with John Cena and Sheamus to fight The Shield later in the night. The winner will be entered into the Elimination Chamber WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match. I learned a few things from this beginning segment.
A. Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H at WrestleMania would work, even though it is not what the fans WANT.
B. CM Punk vs. Triple H wouldn't make much sense anymore, especially after tonight. Do we really want to see this rematch?
C. Daniel Bryan needs to face either Triple H, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion or The Undertaker for fans to NOT cause a riot at WrestleMania XXX.
John Cena, Sheamus and Daniel Bryan defeated The Shield. What can you say about six man tag team matches? Seth Rollins hits a springboard off the ropes and connects with a neckbreaker. This certainly made up for hit botch entrance in the beginning, where it looked like he wanted to strangle a dog after. I really thought that Sheamus was smooth in the ring, a very underrated wrestler. At the end of the night, the faces won because The Wyatt Family interfered and beat down John Cena. The Shield looked very upset, as they should be. This is where WWE needs to pull the trigger on The Shield vs. The Wyatt Family. Make that match happen at Elimination Chamber. It gives both teams something to do while their potential feuds for WrestleMania battle inside the chamber. I would love to see the back and forth mic work between Ambrose and Wyatt. I would also love to see how well two athletic and strong guys like Harper and Reigns work. Then, you have the wildcard in Rollins and the useless piece that is Erick Rowan.

– Brock Lesnar Needs to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
Many will question why I think this needs to happen, but it does. I am not sure when it should happen, but Brock Lesnar would make a fake sport more realistic if he could win the championship and have a reign longer than a month or two. If Rock can do it, surely Brock can. Isn't it funny that fans boo Lesnar out of respect, but boo Orton and Batista because of how generic they have become? I know Batista is still a draw. You can see money in him, just not as much as HE or TRIPLE H thinks. The bosses think he is a "John Cena." He is not. He is a second class champion, which is not a bad thing. There are few guys like Cena, Hogan, Rock, Austin and others. As for Lesnar, he is just so good in everything he does. He does not even need to talk to be incredible. He beats down whomever and makes them feel much more important. He never needs the title, but maybe he could make it more interesting heading into WrestleMania.
