The Undercard

impact wrestling reaction*Note, instead of giving each segment or match a grade, they will now be ranked 1-10. 1 being terrible and 10 being outstanding. The final grade will be averaged out based on the total points and how many segments were graded.

The BroMans defeated Joseph Park and Eric Young. The match quickly became a handicap match, as Gail Kim and Lei'D Tapa would attack Young's girlfriend, ODB, backstage. Park would be beaten down and end up taking the loss from the tag team champions. A few quick things I enjoyed here: I really feel that Jesse and Robbie benefit from having a goofy and funny character like DJ Ion, or whatever the hell he is being called now, playing music and basically making it seem like their wrestling matches are taking place in a club. It enhances their characters and gives Ion a chance to be a regular on television as they figure out his next step. Park took a wicked bump on the rail in the middle of the ring. With all of the craziness that BroMans have, they need to find a balance between "joke" and "serious." I think this was a positive step for them, even though they were not the primary angle tonight,

Score: 6/10

Ethan Carter III vs, Samoa Joe is a non contest because the match barely got underway.Carter attacked Joe backstage and continued the assault to the ring. Spud and Carter attack the big guy at the legs. It was very smart. I want to see Carter defeat some bigger names by himself. Until then, he is going to be stuck with so much potential and nothing to hold it on. The time for him to make a big impact alone is now.

Score: 5/10

Kurt Angle defeated Bad Influence in a Steel Cage Match. Angle is a damn machine in the ring. He is still one of, if not, the best wrestlers in the world. The guy never misses a step and is so smooth in the ring. I compare this match to one where we would see in WWE. John Cena defeating a tag team to look stronger, like a Real Americans. Bad Influence are extremely good in the ring, similar to Swagger and Cesaro. They have different styles, but are used the same way in TNA that Real Americans are in WWE. They are relevant when they need to be and help out the main event players when they need to be. I enjoyed this match and loved the final spot with Angle hitting a suplex that crashed Daniels and Kazarian into one another. Angle wins and heads to face Roode next week in what will be a very physical bout.

Score: 8/10

Bobby Roode defeated Sting in a Steel Cage Match. Roode and Sting battled back and forth in an average match that would end in controversial fashion. Carter distracted the referee and Sting while Spud threw Roode a baton. He struck Sting with it a few times and picked up the win. The match COULD have been better, but I understand what this was all about. Dixie was repaying Roode for his services and help, all the while screwing Sting over once again.

Score: 5/10
