The Undercard Part Two
Randy Orton defeated Dolph Ziggler in an excellent bout between a former champion and arguably the most natural athlete in the ring. Orton is beginning to really take advantage of his heel persona in the ring. He is calculating and really gets his opponent to think like him. Ziggler pounds away at Orton in the corner and takes advantage of Orton's mistakes. We get back from commercial and see Orton pulling the new pink (uh, yeah) hair of Ziggler. Michael Cole said it best "Orton is a malicious and methodical." That is so true when watching how his style of offense in the ring is different than others. He is slow and really showcased excellent ring mentality tonight. Ziggler planted Orton with a huge DDT and a close 2 count. Much like all of his matches, Ziggler comes really close and makes one mistake that costs him the match. RKO ends his night. Excellent psychology and a better story was told in this match. Well done, fellas. WWE Smackdown reaction continues next with the 2013 Superstar of the Year…

Daniel Bryan defeated Damien Sandow. Bryan and Sandow put on an average match. Bryan started off the match with some kicks, but Sandow throws Bryan to the outside and into the barricade. Daniel Bryan takes control with his fast-paced offense. He hits a hurricanranna from the top rope, followed by multiple kicks to the chest of his opponent. Bryan hits a massive kick to the back of his head and ends Sandow's night with a running knee. Good match that had little impact on a storyline. Either way, I was entertained. The best part was that Bray Wyatt continued his pursuit of recruiting Daniel Bryan. Do not be surprised if he gets Bryan in his corner down the road.
