The Undercard Part Two
Damien Sandow and The Miz fight a quick match that Sandow wins. Why doesn't WWE use these guys like they should? Also, is Miz a face now? Is he a heel? Every week is different and is beginning to frustrate me. How are the fans supposed to connect with a guy and invest their time when the writers cannot even do it themselves?
Grade: D on lack of relevance with two talented performers.
Tensai defeated Brodus Clay in a quick match. Brodus hits a few splashes onto his former teammate. Xavier Woods comes out to Clay's song with Cameron and Naomi. They distract Clay and Tensai picks up the win. I really could care less. Why is an unproven rookie getting his first push with a guy like Clay? Neither guy really fits with the other. It is like trying to plug a round peg into a square hole.
Grade: D
Fandango defeated Kofi Kingston. This was not a bad match by any means. Fandango picks up the victory after he trips Kingston and hits a beautiful leg drop from the top. I would not be shocked to see Fandango continue to pick up useless wins like this until they find a real feud for him. The athletic Fandango still gets a reaction from the WWE Universe, which is never a bad thing. We will see what happens to him heading into 2014. Mid card championships may be his ceiling.
