The Shield defeated Rhodes Dynasty and Big Show.

WWE knows that The Shield are some of their best attractions right now. We all wanted to see them split at Survivor Series. We must be patient because, without them, we would have far less interesting matches on a week to week basis. This 6 man tag team match was eventful as always. I liked the ending as well. Rollins played it perfectly. He would Goldust hit a superplex from the top, only to sneak in and pick up the victory. All in all, this was another spectacular match that was never rushed, never forced and never ruined by a mistake. Goldust and Cody need to be praised as well. They have been nothing short of fantastic on a weekly basis as well.

Big Show vs. Triple H Should Be Off

I feel that this feud needs to be put aside for the time being. If it happens, make it at Royal Rumble. With little mention of both guys throughout the night, it looks like Big Show had his one match and will end up being a guy that enters the Rumble to lose. This happens to him all the time and should be a way for him to help younger guys. Much like Henry, Big Show has experience and value. WWE needs to stop trying to invest so much in him as a main event guy. That ship has sailed. I think they are finally realizing that.

Grade: A-

– We get Punk cutting a promo in the beginning and finding out he will face all three members of The Shield. Daniel Bryan will fight all three members of The Wyatt Family. I found this very odd and very forced. Is Kane making these matches for a reason? Why would you have TWO handicap matches that are going to be strategically planned the same. I am hoping that WWE has a great idea on how to save the gimmicks for all 8 men involved. They cannot bury anyone and cannot make anyone look too strong at WWE TLC.

Contract Signing Between Orton and Cena

I loved a few things about this contract signing.

1. John Cena spoke "real" to us about what we all know and think of Randy Orton.

2. Randy Orton sold the harsh words coming to him well.

3. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon let the men tell the story. They need to take a backseat for the next few weeks and let this all play out.

I disliked a few things.

1. Contract Signings all end the EXACT SAME WAY.

2. Cena shoud've been the one on the mat at the end of the night. Everyone expects him to win. Randy Orton needs that believability that he can walk out as Unified Champion more than Cena does.
