WrestleZone’s Top 10 World Heavyweight Champions

Number 3: Randy Orton

Randy Orton won his first World Heavyweight Championship in 2004. He became the youngest man to win the title. After losing it to Triple H, Orton would have to wait over SIX years to get the title back. He created his legacy at a young age, with the help of The Game. He would defeat Christian to reclaim the championship, put on excellent matches and finally end up losing it again to Mark Henry. Many will wonder how he is so high up. Plain and simple, Randy Orton became who he was and continued to be a top face/heel in the company because of this title. He was WWE Champion multiple times, but it always feels like he belongs with this championship around his waist. I loved Randy Orton in these periods. His ring work was second to none and made the WWE Championship picture look extremely weak. Orton's face belongs in history with this title attached to it.
