WrestleZone’s Top 10 World Heavyweight Champions

Number 2: Batista

Batista

Since John Cena was occupying the WWE Championship picture, someone had to do that for the other title. That man was Batista. He would win his first World Heavyweight Championship to end WrestleMania 21 against Triple H. Hollywood was Batista and Batista was Hollywood. He looked the part and acted it to perfection. He held the title four times and his longest reign was lasted from April 2005 to January 2006. An injury stopped his long reign and came at the worst time. It would take some time for him to return. When he did, Batista would win the title back and defend it against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 23. Batista was the biggest face in the company. He did not get booed like Cena did. There is always going to be a reason as to why the World Heavyweight Championship was used on Smackdown. He was one HUGE reason.
