MizTV was supposed to feature an interview with Shawn Michaels. Instead, WWE Champion Randy Orton comes out to talk to The Miz. Orton brings up their history and talks about beating him down in front of his parents. He then asks what The Miz thinks of Big Show interrupting his championship celebration on Raw. Before Miz answers, he is struck down with an RKO. This is the best they can do with Orton right now? I really did not like this because it did nothing for either guy. If they wanted Miz to look strong, why would he continue to get beaten down? He is just not important in a bigger picture anymore. Orton desperately needs to focus his attention on who he will face at Survivor Series. Oh, wait… that guy is "banned for life." Stupid decision. Bring Vince and Show back on Monday. The story will pick up drastically soon after.

John Cena, Goldust and Cody Rhodes defeated The Real Americans and Damien Sandow.
A great match that told multiple stories ended Smackdown this week. Cena and Sandow seem to be the direction that WWE is going to take. I hope they keep this path because Sandow deserves a shot and Cena has nothing else to do than help younger guys get over in a feud. I think Del Rio comes back and inserts himself because of his rematch clause. Look for the development of Sandow to happen right in front of your eyes thanks to a rub from Cena. The Real Americans are a really good tag team to work with Cody and Goldust right now. They have the in ring skill and the mouthpiece to really have an opportunity to make some noise in the tag division. Uso's are faces and can't square off against the champions, while The Shield has other things going on. WWE certainly hit the reset button on newer and fresher feuds at the right time heading into the winter months. The finish of this highly contested bout saw Cena rise above and hit an AA on Swagger. Great call. You can't have Sandow get pinned twice to Cena in the same week. The tag champions already lost once to Swagger and Cesaro. This was the right and logical way to end the night.
