Cody Rhodes and Goldust defeated The Uso's and The Shield to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships.
This was an absolutely incredible match between six guys who really know how to work. The Uso's have taken plenty of criticism from me over the past few months. I am not their biggest supporter but they shut me up tonight. The pacing, the intensity, and the ability to add the wild card feel to the match made it even more exciting. The overall pace of the match was slow from the beginning, as Goldust got plenty of beatings from Reigns and Rollins. Much like they should, The Shield was in full control of the match. It did not take long until we saw some incredible spots, including Rhodes suplexing Rollins to the outside and crashing into everyone. An intense spear from Reigns and some high-flying from the brothers kept me on the edge of my seat. After much chaos, Cody hits a Disaster Kick and got a near fall. Goldust set up his brother up and Cody hit a Cross Rhodes on Rollins for the win. I was shocked to see a Shield member take the loss because it was certain The Uso's were the weaker of the teams. I understood it because it really does not hurt Reigns or Rollins. They have been dominant for so long that a loss like this won't kill their momentum.

Fandango and Summer Rae defeated The Great Khali and Natalya.
Why are we supposed to care about these four individuals right now? Fandango goes from Jericho all the way down to Khali. I will applaud Summer Rae for not looking like the stage was too big for her. Her personality was fine and her character never changed in the ring.

Big E Langston defeated Dean Ambrose.
A last minute addition to the show, Langston gets the PPV match with another really good talent. I would even say this was a blessing in disguise. The match was good, not great. Ambrose and Langston have little chemistry together because they have not really worked with one another. Ambrose focused on quick strikes and trying to outsmart the power horse that is Langston. The best spot of this match was when Ambrose was standing on the apron and Langston hit a spear that sent both men to the outside. Ambrose picked up the loss by count-out, which saves his title and gives Langston a win in his singles debut on Pay-Per-View. Sometimes, logic is what is best for business.
