WWE RawThe Undercard

Daniel Bryan defeated Dean Ambrose in a fantastic bout to kick off Raw. I find it interesting that WWE has decided to stop the interference from The Shield during many matches. It was repetitive and The Shield were booked so similar from week to week. This match had everything an old school and a new school wrestling fan would love. Bryan picked up the victory after about 20 minutes of total bell to bell action. I loved when Ambrose hit an amazing release suplex off the top rope. Those kind of bumps show you that both men are in prime physical condition and know how to execute a high risk move. Bryan would make Ambrose tap out and that was the end of the segment. I wonder if Ambrose will be able to find an actual opponent to feud with. Who would be the best fit for him? Tweet me @JoshIsenberg with #USTitle for responses.

Grade: A-

Santino Marella defeated Heath Slater. This was a big yawn for me. After a few solid segments, we are suspect to something so meaningless and brain numbing.

Grade: D

Randy Orton defeated Dolph Ziggler in another solid match. Although it was not given as much time as Bryan/Ambrose, this match did all it needed to do for Orton. He overcame many reversals and a beautiful dropkick from Ziggler. It seems like Dolph always makes that ONE big mistake before getting put down with the finisher, this time an RKO. Orton picks up the solid win and heads to Hell in a Cell. The contract signing takes place later in the evening.

Grade: B

The Bellas defeated AJ Lee and Tamina. This was a no-brainer for who should win. There is no positive for AJ and Tamina to win here. AJ Lee will fight Brie at Hell in a Cell and the fans need to think for a minute that she will lose. If she wins here, where is the intrigue?

Grade: C
