Number 2: John Cena vs. CM Punk at Night of Champions 2012

Last year, it was all about the long championship reign of CM Punk versus the face of the company in John Cena. This match SHOULD have happened a month earlier, but WWE added Big Show. Instead, Night of Champions gave us an incredible match between Cena and Punk. Many will compare it to Money in the Bank in 2011. It was all about the little things that stood out in this match. First off, CM Punk wore Yankee pinstripes in the city of Boston. Secnod, the mental game before the match started had Punk try to “punk” out Cena. As the match went on, CM Punk would hit a Rock Bottom and still could not finish off the former champion. Cena was able to connect with an Attitude Adjustment and a two count. From the top rope, Cena hit a bridging German suplex. Both men had their shoulders on the mat. The end of the night saw Punk stand tall and yelling in the face of John Cena. The intensity was there. The drama was there. The storyline was intense. After 26 minutes, there was no winner. It was a perfect ending for both men.

Currently, Josh Isenberg works for Major League Baseball in their Advanced Media Productions. He grew up in Pittsburgh and went to Point Park University, which is where Chair Shot Reality is filmed each week.
His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
