Dean Ambrose vs. Kane
What SHOULD happen:
Josh Isenberg: This would be a perfect way to book Ambrose to look extremely strong. WWE have consistently booked The Shield to be the guys who attack in numbers. I would love to see Ambrose be in control for most of the match until Kane gets going. One mistake from Kane should be his downfall, as the intelligence and mental game of Ambrose gets him to a victory. This would give Ambrose a huge boost in his single's career, and would give The Shield a new dynamic.
Mike Killam: The Shield really hasn't proven to anybody they can perform in singles action. Sure, their matches are great, but how often do they win without a DQ finish? Ambrose should win clean – enough of the attacks from the peanut gallery – and establish his individual name over a veteran and future Hall of Famer (not to mention a guy who hasn't had a singles run in almost a full year).
What WILL happen:
Josh Isenberg: Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins will most likely be involved in the match. Kane is upset and excited at the same time. He is getting his own title match and has a chance to recapture gold without Daniel Bryan. Nonetheless, Kane will dominate much of the match until he is distracted on the outside. Dean Ambrose will hit his finisher and get the win.
Mike Killam: There's no possible way to make a 20-year veteran look “weak”, but somehow Ambrose winning clean provides some illusion that this is the case. So, without a doubt, there will be some sort of shenanigans involved, but Ambrose will retain the title.
Winner: Dean Ambrose
