Bound For Glory Series Qualifying Match: Bad Influence defeated James Storm and Gunner in a very solid tag team bout. The champions controlled much of the early portions of the match like usual. I actually am liking the pairing of Gunner and Storm because of the little details. They are a tag team that actually looks like they belong together. With the matching gear, the similar look, and a little differences to separate them, Storm and Gunner looks like they should control the division for the foreseeable future. The ending came when Daniels hit Storm with the title and Kaz picked up the win. What this does is free the tag champions to feud elsewhere, while Daniels and Kazarian can go solo for a little bit.

Bound For Glory Series Qualifying Match: Joseph Park defeated Crimson. One year removed, Crimson returns and cuts a good promo before the match only to lose in quick fashion to Joseph Park. The only reason I will be okay with this is if Park morphs and remains into the Abyss character. I really dislike the Park character because he is so oblivious and makes TNA think the fans are stupid. Crimson comes back and this is exactly how TNA views him. Too bad because Crimson has some talent.

Bound For Glory Series Qualifying Match: Magnus defeated Matt Morgan, Rob Terry, and Kenny King. I know the UK and the internet fans are happy about the win for Magnus. I am not. Magnus is still extremely young in the eyes of wrestling fans and is a simple and generic character who does not have a characteristic or look that stands out. Wrestling is all about standing out and being different. Rob Terry and Matt Morgan are two massive men, but are completely different. I enjoyed the brute strength test to start the match out. You were able to see the versatility of Morgan, his overall presence, and his agility. Show me a 7 foot wrestler, aside from Kane, that has this type of agility. He is a freak of nature and should have won this match and continue a push to the top. Instead, it seems like TNA messed up again. This is the frustrating part of their booking. It makes absolutely no sense to put a guy like Magnus, Daniels, Kazarian, and Park in the BFG series, but you leave out a guy who has 5 tools? He is strong, athletic, has charisma, agility, and the standout look that stars have. The last note of the match was the ending seemed a little sloppy and thrown together. Why was Kenny King in this match?

Austin Aries defeated Eric Young in a basic wrestling match that did not stand out in my mind. I feel like TNA has really cooled off on Aries, a guy who is an excellent wrestler and has a solid ability to put himself over on the mic. He continues to be cheered by the crowd, which should show you that TNA needs to continue to utilize him to his fullest potential. The Brainbuster continues to be an impressive finisher. What makes it better is the corner dropkick that is executed right before.
