The Main Event
The Undertaker defeated Dean Ambrose in the night's main event. Let me start by saying a few things. The Undertaker still has it and can put on a great match with anyone. Second, Dean Ambrose getting this match is a huge positive for his future. They have alot of trust and investment in him. Lastly, just because Ambrose was booked in this match does not make him more important than Rollins or Reigns. He is simply less of a risk for someone of Undertaker's age and speed. Ambrose will not make mistakes, take less risks, and will keep it simple. Overall, I really enjoyed the match. I felt like this would have been bigger and better if it were on Raw, but I appreciated seeing Taker back on "his" show.
The beatdown of The Undertaker is exactly what The Shield needed. After defeating Team Hell No, Ryback, Sheamus, Randy Orton, Big Show, and John Cena, there really was nobody else. The only other target would be Triple H. I really enjoy how The Shield are being booked. They are a piece of the show that you constantly wait for and speculate. I still think there needs to be a bigger moment for them, possibly a tag team title win. They can all be utilized in their proper ways. These 3 guys have been given so much and all have thrived in their own respective ways.
