What’s NOT Bothering Me: Dolph Ziggler, Ryback, Fandangoing

Fandango#2. Fandango…What The Hell!?

I can't explain what has been going on lately. But I guess that's what makes it so great. Wrestling fans can pull some crazy sh*t off when they put their minds to it, and the fact that "fandangoing" is actually a thing proves it.

It takes a big man to admit when he's wrong, but I'm not a big man. Nor am I wrong.

I'll admit that I've LOL'd a few times at Fandango's shtick. I'll admit that a mid-card title is likely in his not-so-distant future. I'll also admit that he's exceeded the level of attention and popularity than I would have guessed possible.

However, my long-term expectations for this character remain the same. And after seeing WWE, on Monday, do what they always do – jump the gun and begin the process of ruining a good thing – my feelings toward Fandango's future couldn't be any stronger.

Is "Fandango", the gimmick, entertaining? Absolutely, but so was Brodus Clay the first couple months.

Mind you, I don't see anything wrong with where Brodus Clay is at currently. Everyone has their role and spot within the system and they can't all be on top. Fandango will likely follow suit once this phase is over and he'll ultimately hit a wall.

There's only so much potential for growth available with a gimmick like this. Fandango will peak, if he hasn't already. It's Johnny Curtis who will suffer as a result.

In the meantime, I'll join the masses the next time I get…dancing, singing and acting a fool so I can claim, at least once, that I truly "fandangoed" with the best of them.
