Kane/Daniel Bryan – One Step Down
I hate to harp so much on the lackluster effort with the tag team division, but I feel the need to it, especially after how well things seemed to be going just a short time ago. I guess Triple H's job is done now that Bruno is going into the Hall of Fame?
Kane and Daniel Bryan have run their course. And although I just stated last week that I would be fine with Dolph and Big E. winning the tag straps, they may have more to do with getting them off Kane and Bryan than me really wanting to see another makeshift team winning them.
I always saw Kane and Bryan as a short-term solution to the tag division. How long that term lasted would depend on a variety of factors, but mostly the state and development of other tag teams during their run.
At the time, WWE had plenty of options in Rey/Sin Cara, Rhodes Scholars, and PTP. Now, they're being forced to consider Dolph and Langston.
That's on Creative NOT being creative.
There's two Raw's left before Mania and I have no clue what the tag team champions will be doing on the show. I'm assuming it will be thrown together last minute and result in disappointment, but maybe they'll prove me wrong. I doubt it, but maybe.
