– I want to say that WWE did the right thing all night with the death of Paul Bearer. I loved how The Undertaker started the show after his tribute video. This was touching and stopped us from thinking about the fake wrestling and remembering a really great person and persona. He gave so much to this business and created his own legacy. He did so much for many years, and he deserves to be honored tonight. Paul Bearer was a guy who stood for all the right things in life, which was family and friends. He took care of his family in times of need, and was still able to entertain millions of strangers in his life. The guy was incredible and defined a new reasoning of Managers in the WWE.
CM Punk lost to Kane when he was distracted by The Undertaker's gong. I really enjoyed the match, but it seemed like the crowd was certainly not interested in the pairing. Kane had a great spot where he launched Punk into the corner while a chair was positioned. I still do not like Punk losing at ALL, but the distraction makes it less of a problem for me. After the match, Punk attacked Kane with the Urn and escaped before he could get attacked by Taker. He was on the top of the stage mocking the pose from The Undertaker. His facial expressions were great, his attitude was perfect, and his intensity really stood out for me. Well done on his behalf.
